Openline Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Scalar Field for Openline. Openline lets an AI chat send and read email, place and answer calls, and send and read SMS from an inbox and phone number we provide. By signing in or using Openline, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Openline is an MCP connector. You connect it from a host such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, then sign in with your email and a one-time code. We may create an inbox and assign a phone number for that account. The host stores the session. We may change, limit, or stop any part of the service.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a contract. You may use Openline only for yourself or for an organization that has authorized you to do so.

3. Your account

You must sign in with an email address you control. You are responsible for activity on your session, including what the connected chat asks Openline to send, say, or store. Tell us at info@scalarfield.io if you believe the account is being used without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use Openline to break the law, to harass or defraud anyone, or to send email, calls, or texts the recipient has not agreed to receive where consent is required. You will honor opt-outs, including unsubscribe links and SMS STOP replies. You will not send malware, interfere with the service, or try to access another person’s inbox, number, or session.

You are responsible for the instructions you give the voice or reply agent and for the content it sends on your behalf.

5. Inboxes and phone numbers

Inboxes and numbers are assigned so Openline can provide the service. They are not yours to keep, transfer, or use outside Openline. We may reclaim, change, or disable an inbox or number if you disconnect it, if the account is inactive, or if we need to for abuse, legal, or operational reasons. Delivery of email, calls, and SMS depends on carriers and other providers and is not guaranteed.

6. Other services

Mail, voice, SMS, and the AI that speaks or replies on a call run through providers named in the Privacy Policy, and through the AI host you connect. Their terms apply to your use of those products. Openline does not control the host’s models or what they do with the conversation you have there.

7. Fees

Openline meters use of mail, SMS, and calls. We may set allowances, charge for use, or change those terms later. We will not charge a payment card through Openline unless we tell you the price and you choose to pay.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account, inbox, or number if you break these terms, if a provider requires it, or if we believe the use is harmful or unlawful. You may stop using Openline at any time. Signing out revokes that session. Disconnecting an inbox or number stops new use of that endpoint.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Openline is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, that a message or call will arrive, or that an AI agent will follow your instructions. To the extent the law allows, Scalar Field is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost messages, calls, or profits, arising from your use of Openline. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Openline in the three months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing.

10. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. If you keep using Openline after the update, you accept the new terms.
