Openline is a product of Scalar Field. It gives an AI chat (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor) an email inbox and a phone number so that chat can send and read mail, place and answer calls, and send and read SMS, on your instruction.
This policy describes what Openline collects and how we use it. Scalar Field’s platform policy is at scalarfield.io/privacy. If the two differ for Openline, this page controls.
Account. Your email address, a short-lived sign-in code sent to that address, and a session token the AI host stores after you sign in. The code is not shown to the chat.
Inbox. An address we create for you (on inbox.scalarfield.io), and the messages sent and received through it, including recipients, subjects, bodies, and attachments.
Phone. A number we assign to you, and the calls and texts on that number: the other party’s number, time, duration, SMS content, call audio processed to produce a transcript, voicemail, and the outcome of the call.
Contacts and instructions. People you or the chat save, and the goals, context, and limits you give the voice or reply agent (including anything you mark as not to be disclosed).
Usage. Counts and costs of mail, SMS, and calls, used to meter the service. We also keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time) to operate and secure Openline.
We do not ask for or store payment card numbers.
We use this information to sign you in, provide the inbox and phone number, deliver and store mail, place and receive calls and SMS, show transcripts and history back to your signed-in session, meter use, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.
People and businesses you or your agent email, call, or text receive the content of those messages. Carriers and the other party’s providers handle delivery in the ordinary way.
We use these processors to run Openline:
Mailbox storage runs on infrastructure we operate. The AI host you connect (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or another MCP client) stores the Openline session and already has the conversation you typed there, under that host’s own policy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect Scalar Field, our users, or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Sign-in codes expire quickly. Sessions can be revoked. Inbox credentials are stored encrypted. Traffic to Openline uses HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
We keep account, mailbox, call, and message data while your Openline account is in use and for a limited period afterward to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. Disconnecting an inbox or phone number stops new use of that endpoint. You can ask us to delete your account data, subject to what we must keep by law.
logout tool, which revokes that session.disconnect_email, or release a number with disconnect_phone.To access, correct, or delete personal information, email info@scalarfield.io.
Openline is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Continued use of Openline after a change means you accept the updated policy.
